Disabled Veteran With 3 Daughters Receives 4-BR Home For Veterans Day

A Tampa veteran was rewarded by his community on Monday with a 4-bedroom home to call his home in honor of his 18 years of service.

Richard Clark-Bartlett is 80 percent disabled after his final deployment after having served multiple tours of duty in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

As reported by ABC Action News of Tampa, now he and his three young daughters have a place they can call home with mortgage completely paid, thanks to the Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay Project.

“It’s a lot of gratitude and a lot of work,” said Clark-Bartlett.  “And a lot of thanks people have put in just for me and my girls.”

The home, a gift that will continue to give Clark-Bartlett and his family piece of mind.  A safe place to live.

“It’s actually been really hard trying to keep this together.  But it’s been worth it,” Clark-Bartlett.
