Bill Maher takes on a variety of issues in last week’s New Rules, finishing with a rant about all the hype assigned to missing flight MH370 instead of covering things like America’s shrinking middle class.
Maher suggested that the media could dedicate a fraction of the time they spend on the missing Malaysian flight on “going on a search for America’s vanishing middle class.”
Speaking of the wealth gap in America, Maher noted “you’re either buying Rembrandts or Chinese cosmetics made from dirt.”
Maher also lashed out at a Wal-mart owner for her notion that giving back to society is donating an art museum. Instead he suggested “How about giving your employees a raise, you deluded nitwit?”
