2 Men Experience Labor Pain Simulator As Jubilant Wives Hi-5 Each Other

Labor-Pain

Two men from Kensington Church, based in Troy, Michigan, set out to prove that their wives were “exaggerating” the pain of childbirth.

The men contacted gynecologist Dr. Julie Masters and filmed their experience as they “underwent a labor simulation meant to mimic contractions experienced by women – with hilarious results,” as reported by the Daily Mail.

Starting with ‘early labor,’ a two or three on the doctor’s pain scale, the men squirm and ‘breath through it.’

One of the men exclaims: ‘That was early labor? It feels like someone is taking a saw and just carving up my abdomen.’

By the time they reach the ‘active’ stage of labor, the squirming has turned into screaming.

‘I’m hoping that’s a seven [on the pain scale],’ says one of the men. ‘No, you’re at four,’ remarks the nurse.

Along the way, you can see their wives giving each other hi-5s, expressing their amusement.

The video ends with the two men speaking to the camera calling their mother “heroes” and noting: “That was a lot worse than I thought it was going to be.
