Here is a great scene from Aaron Sorkin’s “The Newsroom“. Sorkin draws a brilliant parallel between the Tea Party takeover, and the progressive hippie movement in the 1960’s.
Will McAvoy (Jeff Daniels) explains to his boss, Charlie Skinner (Sam Waterston) why he and the rest of his fellow moderate republicans are getting hijacked by the Tea Party.
Will’s E.P., MacKenzie McHale (Emily Mortimer) urges him to get to his point faster.
