KKK Threatened And Heckled By Angry Crowd

Ten Knights of the Ku Klux Klan found themselves on the receiving end of a hostile crowd at a rally in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

The Saturday rally was intended to promote the ideals of white American and to recruit new members. However, as The Evening Sun reports, “the majority of the roughly 50 people who had gathered said they did not support the Knights.”

“If they can be here spewing their hate, we can be here answering them,” said Anne Snyder, who was yelling back at the Klansmen from behind a designated area.

One man called the group ignorant. He told them that it was 2014 and that they should go home, which garnered applause and laughter from the crowd.

The Patriot News reports that Marguerethe Jaede, of Columbus, Ohio,  didn’t agree. They’re “preaching hate and ignorance,” Jaede said.

The crowd threatened and heckled the KKK speakers with one member of the crowd warning them: “We remember what you look like everybody.”
