J.K. Rowling shut down a Serena Williams hater with one perfect tweet this weekend after posting a tweet celebrating her Wimbledon win.
“I love her,” she tweeted, adding: “What an athlete, what a role model, what a woman!”
One Twitter user, named Bob, responded by writing, “ironic then that main reason for her success is that she is built like a man.”
Rowling hit back with an epic response, posting a photograph of Williams wearing a form-fitting red dress and writing:
“she is built like a man”. Yeah, my husband looks just like this in a dress. You’re an idiot.
You can see the online exchange, which has over 61,000 re-tweets so far and has been favorited over 78,000 times.
