A group of bigoted Parisians stormed a silent vigil for victims of last night’s terror attacks waving a banner that called for the expulsion of Muslims. They were not welcomed.
Displays of racism run rampant in Paris in the wake of last week’s tragic attacks.
However, stoic Parisians are choosing compassion and tolerance over blind rage and hatred.
A group of racists waved a banner calling for the expulsion of Muslims during a Saturday silent vigil for victims of the attack which left over 150 civilians dead.
However, they were forced to retreat by the much larger crowd who were chanting “fascists go home.”
Later, the large crowd of mourners began singing France’s national anthem, Le Marseillaise.
