Chilling video reveals how the NRA created loopholes allowing Islamic extremists to treat the United States as a veritable gun bazaar free-for-all.
Recent revelations by credible news sources about the NRA raise serious questions about their actions to promote jihad in the United States.
The New York Daily News devoted its Wednesday front cover to a bold attack on the NRA using three simple words: “NRA’s Sick Jihad.”
The tabloid’s cover denounced “NRA’s Sick Jihad” in characteristically huge typeface. The story inside accused the gun rights group of tacitly abetting the arming of terrorists by blocking a proposed bill that would make it more difficult for terror suspects to buy guns in the United States. The Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2015, formally known as H.R. 1076, was introduced in February, and includes a ban on the “sale or distribution of firearms or explosives to any individual whom the Attorney General has determined to be engaged in terrorist activities.”
The Trace breaks it down even further, reporting that the Daily News cover story refers to “a loophole in federal law that has allowed more than 2,000 people who appear in the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database — sometimes referred to as the terror watch list — to buy guns since 2004.”
As The Trace explains, that “Because their names are not fed into the federal gun background check system, the 700,000 individuals who’ve wound up on the list because of possible terrorist ties can walk into a gun store and purchase firearms, unless prohibited for the reasons that would stop any prospective gun owner, such as a felony conviction or involuntary commitment to a psychiatric ward.”
H.R. 1076, noted above, is a bipartisan bill that would have changed all that except for the fact that it “has been stalled in Congress for years in the face of opposition from the National Rifle Association. The gun group argues that the legislation would harm law abiding citizens on the terror list who could be unjustly denied their Second Amendment rights.”
Chilling Video By California-Raised Al Qaeda Spokesman Instructs Islamic Extremists About Federal Loopholes
Then there is this 2011 video in which California-raised Adam Gadahn explains that Muslim extremists are well-aware of that loophole.
The video – titled: “Do Not Rely On Others, Take The Task Upon Yourself” was used by Gadahn, an Al Qaeda spokesman who was later killed by a drone strike, to advise would-be jihadists how to arm themselves by taking advantage of those NRA created loopholes.
