Narcissistic gun-crazed Nevada Assemblywoman poses with guns in a 2016 calendar celebrating the Second Amendment.
To fully grasp what is happening here, you must understand that this lunatic has bragged about carrying weapons in gun-free zones in a speech before the Nevada Assembly, sponsored gun bills allowing concealed weapons in day care centers as well as K-12th grade schools, sponsored another bill to toss the Feds in prison as part of her support for “the unapologetically racist rancher Cliven Bundy during the standoff at his Nevada ranch in 2014.”
In an interview with the New York Times she defending her support for a bill allowing concealed handguns in schools, stating: “If these young, hot little girls on campus have a firearm, I wonder how many men will want to assault them. The sexual assaults that are occurring would go down once these sexual predators get a bullet in their head.”
The list goes on and on…
Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore is giving away a free “2016 Walk the Talk Second Amendment Calendar,” free so long as you make a minimum donation of “$25 or more” to her campaign.
The calendar features photos of the controversial Republican legislator posing with a variety of weapons from a Mossberg 590 to AR Extar EXP-556 pistol and a RJ Braverman Stinger 22LR pen gun.
The calendar also includes quotes from other notable gun nuts – like Ted Nugent: “Where you have the most armed citizens in America, you have the lowest violent crime rate. Where you have the worst gun control, you have the highest crime rate.”
However, as FactCheck.org reports, looking at the numbers – Nugent is wrong.
President Barack Obama claimed [on October 1, 2015] that “states with the most gun laws tend to have the fewest gun deaths.” Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina, meanwhile, has made nearly the opposite claim, saying states with stringent gun control laws have “the highest gun crime rates in the nation.”
In looking solely at the numbers of gun deaths and gun crimes, the data back up Obama, not Fiorina.
In addition to quotes from other notables like Abraham Lincoln, the Reno Gazette Journal reports that: “Numerous days throughout the year feature anecdotes of individuals using guns in self-defense, such as this entry for May 23: ‘2013 — Michigan 26-year-old Young Lady Uses Gun To Fight Off Man Who Stabbed Her Twice.'”
Then there’s a personal favorite, April, which states that “Diamonds aren’t a girl’s best friend,” and shaking our collective head – there’s December with the entire family packing heat.
And if that isn’t enough, let us remind you a bit about her past endeavors.
As Vice reports:
Fiore first found her way into the public eye when she defended the unapologetically racist rancher Cliven Bundy during the standoff at his Nevada ranch in 2014. Fiore joined Bundy supporters at the ranch and spoke out against the feds in a bonkers interview with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes that earned her high praise from noted rhetorician Sean Hannity. Fiore quickly found herself a poster politician of the whole sensation.
Last February, discussing the advantages of gun ownership, she told the New York Times,
“If these young, hot little girls on campus have a firearm, I wonder how many men will want to assault them. The sexual assaults that are occurring would go down once these sexual predators get a bullet in their head.”
She also drew criticism earlier this year at her suggestion that cancer is a fungus that merely needs to be washed out:
If you have cancer, which I believe is a fungus, and we can put a pic line into your body and we’re flushing with, say, salt water, sodium carbonate ([sic] through that line and flushing out the fungus. These are some procedures that are not FDA-approved in America that are very inexpensive, cost-effective.
Back in 2013, Fiore bragged about carrying weapons in gun-free zones in a speech to the Nevada Assembly, stating:
As someone that carries a firearm on me like my panties and bra, I do break the law because I generally carry my gun in places where they say is a gun-free zone, because I’m not going to be a victim of a stupid law.
Most recently, Fiore told Americans to arm themselves in the wake of the San Bernadino massacre earlier this week that left 14 dead plus 2 alleged terrorists:
My strong message to you is it’s time Americans begin protecting America. Get armed, get trained, get your head out if the sand and be prepared.
