Malala Yousafzai condemns Trump’s anti-Muslim views calling them “tragic and full of hatred.”

Pakistani female education activist Malala Yousafzai condemned Donald Trump‘s recent statements about Muslims during a somber Wednesday ceremony remembering 134 children who were killed in a Taliban attack on a Pakistani school one year ago this week, according to a report by The Guardian.

“Well that’s really tragic that you hear these comments which are full of hatred, full of this ideology of being discriminative towards others,” she said.

She added that his behavior might “radicalize more terrorists” and asked politicians to have “more caution.”

“If your intention is to stop terrorism, do not try to blame the whole population of Muslims for it because it cannot stop terrorists,” she concluded.

Malala’s father Ziauddin Yousafzai also weighed in on Trump’s comments, stating: “It will be very unfair, very unjust that we associate 1.6 billion [Muslims worldwide] with a few terrorist organizations.”

Malala and her father’s comments were in response to a December 7th proposal posted on the Republican presidential front-runner’s website calling for a total ban on Muslims entering the United States under any circumstances “until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”
