The Bernie Sanders campaign posted a clip of the Democratic presidential hopeful addressing a Trump supporter and heckler at a campaign rally today.
Along with the video, The People For Bernie Sanders 2016 posted the following remark:
Remember that many Trump supporters are misguided. They’ve been told for decades by right wing media to hate other people. They’ve been told by Trump to defend the 1%. It will take time, but many of them WILL #FeelTheBern. We need to welcome everyone who’s willing to talk about the political revolution. We may not agree on everything, but we do agree that enough is enough. Every conversation is an organizing conversation.
The clip, below, was prefaced by the following statement:
Today a Donald J. Trump supporter interrupted a rally. This is how Bernie responded.
