GOP Convention Fraud Captured On Teleprompter – Video

Convention

Can Republicans be trusted to run an honest convention this year? If the 2012 GOP Convention is any indication – most certainly not!

As the odds of a brokered convention for Republicans becomes more likely, the operative question voters must ask themselves is: “Can the GOP be trusted to run an honest convention?”

If the 2012 Republican National Convention is any any indication – the answer is a resounding “no.”

As the Washington Examiner reported at the time, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Preibus and House Speaker John Boehner “railroaded the party’s grass roots in order to shut down any debate over rule changes or the decision to unseat 10 Ron Paul delegates elected in Maine,” during the convention.

Timothy P. Carney, Senior Political Columnist for the Washington Examiner, was in attendance during an instance of convention fraud that was captured on a teleprompter.

A video of the incident was made by Oregon Delegate Duane Taylor on August 28, 2012 during the vote on the new controversial RNC rules. It shows the predetermined script of the proceedings of the Republican National Convention, including the outcome of the voting.

They refused to actually counts votes, but simply ruled that “the ayes have it” as the teleprompter instructed them to do. This video leaves no doubt that the results of the voting were decided in advance.

Carney wrote of the fraud:

“I was on the floor at the time, and I saw these party leaders chairing the convention simply ignore points of order and objections. They also ruled that the Ayes had won a voice vote when the Noes pretty clearly shouted louder. It’s hard to get more undemocratic than simply making up the results of a floor vote.

Well, the video [below] helps explain what was going on. The teleprompter (see at the 2-minute mark) reads ‘the Ayes have it.’ So, rather than describing what happened, the chairs just read their script.

QUESTION: What is the difference between the GOP and the Mafia?

ANSWER: One is a ruthless crime syndicate that uses violence, fraud, intimidation and treachery to hold power. The other is a smaller, less powerful criminal organization that was founded in Sicily.
