Conservative Website Explains Exactly Why Hillary Will Be Victorious At The First Debate

Hillary Clinton

Leading conservative website predicts Hillary Clinton will win the first debate.

Conservative website Brietbart is predicting that Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton will win the first presidential debate, scheduled for Monday the 26th of September at Hofstra University in Hempstead.

Breitbart, headed by Donald Trump’s new campaign chief Stephen Bannon, reports that it looks as though the first debate would “be Donald Trump’s last chance to rescue his failing campaign with a dramatic surprise attack on Hillary Clinton.”

And it seems entirely likely that Trump is planning just that. Just last week his campaign “revealed his plan to hijack the debates through an online debate prep survey sent to his fans via email on Thursday.” While his email is innocuous enough, filled with the usual grandstanding, it is the first question that is revealing. The question reads, in part, ““Which of the following issues do you want Donald Trump to address on the debate stage even if moderators fail to bring them up? (Select as many that apply.)” [emphasis added]

Breitbart goes on to predict a Clinton victory in no uncertain terms:

“Trump fans, brace yourselves: Hillary Clinton will win the first presidential debate. She will not do enough to put away the Republican nominee, but she will stop his momentum.”

After rambling for a bit about Clinton’s so-called “failing health,” Breitbart goes on to detail two main reasons to expect a Clinton victory. Those reasons, with the unnecessary insults, snark and hype removed are as follows:

  • “The first is that she is the most seasoned debater in American political life today. … But years of debating… have helped her develop a polished…public persona that conveys competence.”
  • “The second reason that Clinton should win is that … Trump is a … poor debater. For one thing, he is too quick to take offense at tough questions or jabs from opponents. The celebrated clash with Megyn Kelly in the first primary debate last year was entirely avoidable, and cost him female support. Trump also sometimes stumbles on policy questions beyond his core issues. He often forgets his own past statements and misstates his own views.”

Having made those admissions, Breitbart goes on to whimper that – like their unfounded claim about the election itself – the debates are rigged.

“But there is one larger reason that Clinton will win the first debate: the media will tell everyone she has won, regardless…. They are openly hostile to Trump. With legions of faux fact-checkers, and battalions of biased pundits, the fix is in.”

Breitbart concludes by predicting that “Clinton will enjoy a bump in the polls– and Trump will have to claw his way back in the weeks and debates that follow.”

Let’s hope he just takes his ball and goes somewhere else to play after he implodes during that first debate.  Let’s hope.
