A young girl with disabilities had to be escorted from a Trump rally to protect her from Trump supporters.

A Colorado woman and her 7-year-0ld disabled daughter had to be escorted from a Trump rally by Secret Service agents after the Trump supporters began yelling at them.

The Denver Channel reports that “Jennifer Mau and her 7-year-old daughter, who has disabilities, say they attended the rally as an undecided family, wanting to know more about the Republican candidate for president.”

Mau told The Denver Channel that she also wanted to see what it would be like for a disabled person to attend a Trump rally, particularly in light of the fact that the Republican nominee had previously mocked a journalist.

Mau explained that she sat with others with disabilities but after only 20 minutes decided to leave the rally and that’s when things got ugly.

“When we were leaving, somebody said, ‘Why are you leaving?’ and basically struck a nerve,” Mau said, adding that she questioned why a person with a handicap would be at a Trump rally in the first place. “I said, ‘Why are you here? – Because it was all handicapped people. Why are you here? He makes fun of people like you.'”

Mau added that at this point several people began yelling at her and her daughter, and one of them even started following them as they attempted to leave the rally. At that point, Secret Service agents stepped in, presumably to protect her and her daughter, and escorted them out of the rally.

Mau told The Denver Channel that she did notice some other people leaving the rally with her, some of them telling her that her daughter, who was born with facial deformities, was beautiful.
