Oscar-winning actress Helen Mirren is less than not impressed with ‘small-headed’ Donald Trump.
New York Magazine reports that: “For all the ridicule that Donald Trump has been subjected to during his presidential run — jokes targeting his spray tan, his (tiny) hand size, his … everything — none has been delivered so swiftly and brutally as Dame Helen Mirren’s. “
Helen Mirren blasted Donald Trump as a “dinosaur” in what Vanity Fair describes as a “devastating dismissal.”
The Oscar-winning actress was attending a Tuesday luncheon held in honor of her latest film, Eye in the Sky, when she was asked about the Republican nominee’s misogyny towards women.
“I think it’s dinosaurs,” she said speaking of his recent controversial remarks. “I think they’re dying out. … There are a few old dinosaurs left, and I think Mr. Trump is one of them.”
During a question and answer session moderated by former New Yorker editor Tina Brown, Mirren poked fun at Trump’s physique, dismissing him as having an “enormous body, small head,” and noting that he had, “dinosaur-y hands.” Mirren’s comments came the day after she appeared at a Broadway fundraiser for Hillary Clinton, during which she recited a speech by Eleanor Roosevelt.
“I believe in the young, and I certainly believe in young women,” said Mirren stated, adding: “I think young women are entering into a very different world to the world I entered in.”
“I think the dinosaurs will die out,” she concluded.
