In a surprise SNL cameo, Melissa McCarthy skewers White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer.
Sean Spicer became the latest member of Trump’s administration to get raked across the coals by Saturday Night Live.
The four-time SNL host appeared as Sean Spicer, spoofing his first appearance before the White House press corps.
She yelled at reporters, taking issue with coverage of the crowd size at Trump’s inauguration.
“I’d like to begin today by apologizing on behalf of me to you,” the press conference began. “And that apology is not accepted.”
As NBC News reports, “McCarthy screamed, poured an entire pot of gum down her throat, and literally used her lectern as a bully pulpit, pushing troublesome reporters back into their seats during the sketch.”
The sketch also addressed Spicer’s ongoing war with specific media companies, with a diaper-wearing reporter from CNN held being held in a cage in the corner of the press room.
As one might expect, Trump was quick to respond, whimpering that the show is “unwatchable” and “biased” and whimpering about Alec Baldwin’s cold open.
Just tried watching Saturday Night Live – unwatchable! Totally biased, not funny and the Baldwin impersonation just can't get any worse. Sad

Not yet satisfied, Trump hit Twitter first thing Sunday morning to complain again, this time connecting SNL to media “rigging [the] election.”
Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me.Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!
