Ana Navarro didn’t hold back with Trump Jr. when he came for her on Twitter.
Controversy erupted in the wake of news that Ivanka Trump sat in for her father on Saturday at the G20 Summit meeting in Hamburg, Germany.
As The New York Times reports, “Ivanka Trump briefly sat in for her father, President Trump, during a session on Saturday at the Group of 20 summit meeting in Hamburg, Germany, prompting an outcry on social media.”
Although other leaders similarly had others from their delegation sit in for them on occasion, “Ms. Trump’s appearance riled the president’s critics, who have questioned the role that Mr. Trump’s family members play in the administration. Ms. Trump serves as a senior adviser to the president. Her husband, Jared Kushner, is also a senior adviser and the head of the new Office of American Innovation.”
Republican strategist and political commentator Ana Navarro weighed in on the matter on her Twitter account.
“Given choice b/w Pres. Donald or Pres. Ivanka, I’d take her. After all, she’s smart and eloquent and knows how to make champagne popsicles,” she tweeted.

Donald Trump, Jr. was quick to respond, tweeting: “She is VERY smart & eloquent. You can belittle her all you want w your snark, but we all know 1 on 1 she way out of your league.”

Navarro responded, tweeting: “Oh, no! I got under Little Boy Trump’s thin skin. Not his fault. It’s a hereditary condition.”

A few hours later, Navarro was at it again calling Trump Jr. “Trumpito” which means “Little Trump” in Spanish.
“Seems Trumpito has bigger issues than trolling me for calling his sister, “smart, eloquent” & good at making champagne popsicles. Cheers!” she tweeted:

That tweet was in response to one by The New York Times, stating: “Donald Trump Jr. set up a meeting last June with Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort and a Kremlin-connected lawyer” and linking to an explosive article on that meeting.
