Everyone loves a good photobomb and these ones of Trump are cracking me up.
A photobomb is defined by Oxford Dictionary as “A photograph that has been spoiled by the unexpected appearance of an unintended subject in the camera’s field of view as the picture was taken,” typically as a prank or practical joke. However. not all photobombs are deliberate, as we will show below.
Our first photobomb is a perfect example of an accidental one, but one that is extremely powerful – that awkward clip of Melania Trump reacting to Donald at his inauguration ceremony.

Salon reported on the clip on January 23, 2017:
In a dark and mesmerizing clip that’s been circulating on social media today, Donald Trump turns to face his wife Melania at the inauguration ceremony, and she smiles back at him widely. When Trump faces forward again, we get a split-second glimpse of Melania’s inner turmoil as her face melts into a frown.
Jezebel, which posted the Melania/Melancholia video on Monday, shows the exchange taking place during Franklin Graham’s speech on Inauguration Day, then zooms in further on Melania’s devastating grimace. It’s like one of those GIFs of Kanye West realizing he’s been caught smiling on camera but so much worse, because Melania Trump is married to our actual president.
And, while there seems to be never ending examples of Melania snubbing Trump that could be posted here, we wanted to provide a wider range of photobombs.
Our next favorite is one posted in June 2016 by the Reverend Jerry Falwell, Jr.
The Daily Dot reported on the photobomb:
After a religious leader summit in New York City featuring Donald Trump, the Falwells (aka the family who founded the notoriously conservative/religious Liberty University), and other big-name evangelicals, Jerry Falwell, Jr. uploaded a friendly photo on his Twitter account.
Honored to introduce @realDonaldTrump at religious leader summit in NYC today! He did incredible job! @beckifalwell pic.twitter.com/e2eBSbQwb0

There was just one problem, as Twitter users were quick to point out – the “ironic, framed magazine cover floating behind Becki Falwell’s head on the wall of Trump’s shrine.”

However, it gets even better as CNN reporter Andrew Kaczynski tweeted the same day Falwell posted the image: “Fun fact, the women [sic] on the cover of the 1990 Playboy with Trump is currently in prison for cocaine trafficking.”

Out next photobomb is one of the best deliberate photobombs ever, this time by 2017 Rhode Island Teacher of the Year, Nikos Giannopoulos.
Giannopoulos wrote about the Oval Office meeting on his Facebook page, writing in part:
For my trip to the White House, I wore a rainbow pin to represent my gratitude for the LGBTQ community that has taught me to be proud, bold, and empowered by my identity – even when circumstances make that difficult. I wore a blue jacket with a bold print and carried a black lace fan to celebrate the joy and freedom of gender nonconformity.
“It was a great honor to be received in the Oval Office, and it really meant a lot to me that I was able to express myself authentically and represent for my community,” Giannopoulos told The Hill in June 2017 shortly after he posted the image online.
Our final example of the day comes to us compliments of CNN who reported that Hillary Clinton’s portrait photobombed Trump as he met a White House tour group:
