Michael Avenatti is on fire today in the wake of Rudy Giuliani’s disastrous interview on ABC News.
Rudy Giuliani is at it again, giving one cause to wonder whether or not he is working for Trump or for Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller.
Giuliani dropped four bombs during a Sunday morning interview by ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos.
I. In short, Giuliani didn’t rule out the possibility that Trump would invoke the Fifth Amendment against self incrimination if he testifies before Robert Mueller or his team.
II. Asked about the possibility of Trump getting subpoenaed by Mueller to testify, Giuliani answered: “We don’t have to” comply with a subpoena.
“They don’t have a case on collusion, they don’t have obstruction… I’m going to walk him into a prosecution for perjury like Martha Stewart did?” Giuliani continued. “He’s the president of the United States. We can assert privilege other presidents [have].”
III. Turning to the subject of Michael Cohen, Giuliani told Stephanopoulos that he fully expects Michael Cohen, Trump’s former long-time personal attorney, to cooperate with Robert Mueller, remarkably adding that he was unconcerned.
“Michael Cohen doesn’t have any incriminating evidence on the president or himself,” Giuliani said, adding “He’s an honest, honorable lawyer.”
IV. Asked about the possibility that Trump had paid hush money to women other than Stormy Daniels, Giuliani responded: “I have no knowledge of that, but I would think if it was necessary, yes.”
Stormy Daniels’ attorney, Michael Avenatti, who has been dishing it out to Trump’s legal team in the courtroom and on social media; swiftly took advantage of this golden opportunity to troll Giuliani this morning.
Posting a link to the Stephanopoulos interview, Avenatti tweeted; “I would urge the public to watch Mr. Giuliani’s full interview on @ThisWeekABC. An unmitigated disaster. This is what happens when you can’t keep your lies straight. #basta”

And this was after he had already trolled Trump, regarding Stormy Daniels’ appearance during the cold open of “Saturday Night Live.”
“Happen to check the 5-day outlook last night from my favorite meteorologist. A Storm’s a-comin! #FactsAreStubbornThings #basta,” he tweeted.
How great was @stormydaniels tonight on #snl? https://t.co/Z2sAK3yP9O
