Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut talks with Rachel Maddow about how far away from American popular opinion the radical messaging of the NRA and its new president have become, and the ridiculous efforts by state Republicans to violate the U.S. Constitution and nullify federal law.
CLearly, gun rights radicals and conservative politicians are more interesting in spreading paranoia than in acting upon the will of the American people.
Sen. Murphy goes on to note that the NRA basically announced over the weekend that they are morphing into a paramilitary group, that in essence they are advocating armed resistence to the U.S. government.
