Well-known for his violent rants in the State Assembly, Illinois State Rep. Mike Bost (R) announced this week that he will forgo a 10th term in the General Assembly and instead seek the 12th District Congressional seat.
In this first clip you can see “Meltdown Mike” Bost screaming profanities and referencing the Bible during a tirade directed at powerful House Speaker Mike Madigan during a session of the State House of Representatives in Springfield, Illinois. Tuesday, May 29th. 2012.
In the following clip from today, CNN gets his response.
“There are only about two things that really bother me,” Bost said on CNN’s “New Day.” “When I’m working in the General Assembly and someone just violates the rules and therefore takes those rules away from my constituents and my ability to defend my constituents and work on certain pieces of legislations, that’s a problem.”
