Texas Cop Accused of Assaulting Teen During Traffic Stop

A 40-year-old police officer is accused of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old in the back of his car during a traffic stop in San Antonio, Texas.

As reported by WOAI San Antonio, 11 year police veteran Jackie Neal has been arrested and charged for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl. Facing charges of sexual assault and official oppression, Neal was “suspended and transferred” three months ago for “having an inappropriate relationship with and 18-year-old” who had been participating in a S.A.P.D. program for young people interested in pursuing careers in law enforcement.

Neal is currently on administrative leave until further notice.

WOAI is reporting that this relationship “happened about two years ago while she was part of an S.A.P.D. program for youth looking into a career in law enforcement.”
