A Mystic, Connecticut, playground dedicated to a Sandy Hook Elementary massacre victim is being vandalized by “truthers” who claim the shooting never occurred.
A vinyl peace sign featuring a peace symbol based on a design by 7-year-old victim, Grace McDonnell, was stolen last Tuesday from a local layground named after her memory.
CBS2 reports that “William Lavin, who’s ‘Where Angels Play Foundation,’ has been building playgrounds to honor all 26 victims, was told McDonnell’s mother Lynn found out about the theft when the man who apparently took the sign called her. The thief reportedly told McDonnell he stole the sign because he believes the shooting at the school was a hoax.”
