CAIRO: Jon Stewart took time out from his working trip to the Middle East to appear on a show hosted by a man known as “Egypt’s Jon Stewart.”
The host, Bassem Youssef is currently under investigation for insulting the president of Egypt and Islam and Stewart praised him for taking the risks noting:
“If your regime is not strong enough to handle a joke then you don’t have a regime.”
