MSNBC’s Martin Bashir lashed out a John Boehner accusing the House Speaker of having multiple personality disorder.
The Washington Post’s Dana Milbank and The Huffington Post’s Ryan Grim debated why Boehner may be unable to please both his base and strike a shutdown deal with Bashir leading the exchange by asking:
Dana, given that the speaker appears to be suffering from multiple personality disorder — one day he doesn’t want a debt ceiling fight, the next day he does — is the president’s position the safer bet at this point in time?
