Taranza Mckelvin is only 5-years-old and has been interested in marching bands ever since he saw one in a video.
“I watched some of the band videos and it teaches me moves,” said Mckelvin.
So, the 5-year-old decided to practice with Glades Central High School last summer at band camp.
“I was really nervous,” said Mckelvin.
What Mckelvin didn’t know was that he was being groomed to be one of their official drum majors and last Saturday he made his debut.
