That awkward moment when Sarah Palin is named Co-Chair of Ready for Hillary’s National Finance Council!
Yep, you heard that right campers. After inadvertently helping raise over $25,000 for Hillary Clinton’s election campaign “Sarah officially qualifies as a Co-Chair of our National Finance Council,” according to Clinton’s campaign headquarters.
The story begins with Sarah Palin’s rambling incoherent speech last Saturday at Steve King’s Iowa Freedom Summit. At one point during the speech, Palin pulled out a Ready for Hillary PAC magnet and proceeded to whip the conservative crowd into a frenzy:
I’m ready for Hillary, are you? Are you coming? Hey Iowa, can anyone stop Hillary? To borrow a phrase, ‘Yes we can!’ And it starts here and it starts now.
The Ready for Hillary campaign people were all over it and tweeted an image of Palin holding the magnet along with a link to a fundraising email, asking donors to give $20.16 to purchase one of their own AND THE REST IS FUND-RAISING HISTORY.
Did you see who has a @ReadyForHillary magnet? Check it out and get your own today: http://t.co/y9SBAaDGKN pic.twitter.com/qjfVsoOlCG

The Independent reports that the campaign’s headquarters has confirmed the following:
Sarah Palin inadvertently gave herself a new title — Co-Chair of Ready for Hillary’s National Finance Council!
Yesterday, we sent an email to our supporters telling you how Sarah Palin held up a Ready for Hillary car magnet during a recent speech.
The response we got was overwhelming — hundreds of supporters stepped up and Sarah ended up raising Ready for Hillary over $25,000 in grassroots donations.
Here’s the kicker — by raising $25,000, Sarah officially qualifies as a Co-Chair of our National Finance Council.
(We will wait until Sarah calls before officially adding her name to the list.)
As The Independent concludes, Palin has yet to respond – LOL.
