Crooks & Liars reported that Cruz was “forced to pause a speech” sponsored by the Strafford Country Republican Committee in New Hampshire “after he reportedly terrified a little girl by shouting that her ‘world is on fire.’”
March 15th: Tea Party Idiot Ted Cruz Pleads For Repeal Of Federal Law That Doesn’t Exist
Cruz took to Twitter to lash out at the federal role in education and calling for the repeal of Common Core in yet another misguided tweet. The problem is – Common Core is not a federal law, rather, it is a states initiative.
March 16th: Ted Cruz Makes An Asinine Comment About Climate Change
I just came back from New Hampshire where there’s snow and ice everywhere. And my view actually is simple: Debates on this should follow science, and should follow data. And many of the alarmists on global warming, they got a problem cuz the science just doesn’t back them up. And in particular, satellite data demonstrates that the last 17 years there’s been zero warming. None whatsoever. It’s why—you remember how it used to be called global warming and then magically the theory changed to climate change? The reason is it wasn’t warming, but the computer models still say it is, except the satellites show it’s not.
Responding to Cruz’s asinine statement about climate change to Seth Meyers, Gov. Jerry Brown told Chuck Todd that Cruz “betokens such a level of ignorance and a direct falsification of the existing scientific data. It’s shocking and I think that man has rendered himself absolutely unfit to be running for office.”

Cruz announced his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination on Monday despite having one of the highest (if not the highest) Politifact track records for telling publicly asserted falsehoods – lies.
March 24: Ted Cruz Destroyed By Forbes In Scathing Smack Down – ‘He Will Ultimately Be Forgotten’
Forbes published a scathing smack down of Ted Cruz, stating that his announcement that he is running for president “disrespects the Founding Fathers, American tradition, and non-Christians,” adding that “he will ultimately be forgotten in the big picture of American history.”
March 25: Ted Cruz Continues Getting Smacked Around Over His Asinine Comment About Climate Change
It’s been over a week since Ted Cruz made his asinine comment regarding climate change during an interview with Seth Meyers but the presidential hopeful is still getting smacked around.
For example, Slate wrote that “What Cruz said, in its entirety, is what comes out of the south end of a north-facing bull,” adding that Cruz has “his head firmly planted in the sand,” and accuses him of “going full Orwell.”
