Russell Brand and Fox News have a long standing feud. Here’s the best of Brand unleashing himself on Bill O’Reilly.
Russell Brand and Fox News have been feuding for years now.
In June of 2014 Brand accused Fox News of being “fanatical” and “more dangerous than Isis,” adding that “Fox News is a fanatical terrorist propagandist organization.”
In September 2014, Brand shredded Bill O’Reilly’s argument that “white privilege is just an excuse for black people,” and a month later, in October, Brand was kicked out of the Fox News headquarters under the threat of arrest.
Brand showed up in New York City to do an episode of The Trews (true news) in front of News Corp. headquarters, claiming he was booked as a guest on Hannity’s show but that they had cancelled his appearance. In the middle of a segment on Bill O’Reilly and Islamophobia he was approached by a security guard saying “You can’t film here, this is private property” seemingly referring to the outside plaza of the News Corp. building and the rest is now history.
More recently, last year Brand tore into Fox News yet again, this time stating that Fox News cannot cover mental illness because they create it.
Brand has also singled out people at Fox News, particularly Sean Hannity and Bill O’Reilly.
The clip below includes some of Brand’s best slams on the ridiculous nonsense that Bill O’Reilly is known for saying.
