Barack Obama drops the f-bomb as he and Joe Biden explore life beyond public office in this hilarious video – Couch Commander.
We’ve all enjoyed those Joe Biden memes mocking Trump; but, long before that, Obama released a video titled “Couch Commander” mocking his own retirement.
The video was debuted at the 2016 White House Correspondents Dinner on April 30th of last year.
Co-starring then Vice President Joe Biden and former Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner, it takes a look at different options for his future retirement life and, as People Magazine reports, “Drops the F-Bomb, Visits the DMV and Volunteers His Coaching Expertise.”
The video was well received by the media at the time with news organizations like The Mirror reporting that Obama “has long been known for his sense of humor, but this brilliant video shows him in a cool new light.”
Vox focused on Speaker Boehner’s cameo appearance in the video reporting:
Kicking back side-by-side in plush red leather chairs, President Barack Obama and former House Speaker John Boehner held matching bags of popcorn as Toy Story flickered on the movie screen in front of them.
“So,” the president says, “got any advice for me?”
“Yesterday, I had a beer at 11:30 in the morning, and McDonalds serves breakfast all day long,” Boehner responds. “I finally got the grand bargain — on a sweet Chevy Tahoe.”
Grab some popcorn and kick back and enjoy President Obama taking a look at different options for his future retirement life.
