Rush Limbaugh still has influence in the Tea Party. People actually listen to him and think he reports news. They think he’s credible. They are wrong.
In this illuminating bit, he likens gay relationships to bestiality and marrying pets.
He changes his voice in a derogatory way and mocks a Miami lawyer as he reads her statement about a case of a homosexual couple and their adoption choice of having two lesbians and one gay man on the birth certificate.
It takes him less than two minutes to insist he was correct a while back, when he made the claim that soon, the definition of family will change and include marrying your dog. He says the dog will qualify for benefits and complains that he was ridiculed and laughed at for his “prediction.”
If the Tea Party wasn’t so extreme and busy making laws that strip our rights, Limbaugh’s ridiculousness could and would easily be ignored. It’s quite frightening that people not only listen to this man but actually think what he says is valid.
If my choice is a dog or Limbaugh, I’ll marry the dog.
