Smile. A great new hashtag mocking street harassment is trending.
If you’re a woman who’s ever dealt with street harassment, you’ve probably complained about it only to have some mansplainer tell you that you should take catcalls as compliments.
After dealing with an aggressive man in CVS, a 37-year-old woman who goes by the handle Miss Black Awareness on Twitter has created the new hashtag #NoWomanEver to highlight how street harassment is actual harassment and not at all complimentary.
"He blocked me from walking to the register when I was ignoring him in CVS and we been together since that day!" -NO WOMAN EVER

After her first tweet, Miss Black Awareness went on a roll calling out pervy men on the street, and the trend has been picked up by other women who’ve used sarcasm to share their personal stories:
You know what I love? Having to ask my friend to watch my drink while I go to the bathroom. #NoWomanEver
