Half-Term Governor “I’m Not A Quitter” Sarah Palin Considering Senate Bid

Sarah Palin is considering a Senate run despite the fact that Alaskans have a 58 percent unfavorable opinion of the former half-term governor. She is trailing Democratic Sen. Mark Begich, who leads Palin, 52 to 40 percent, a survey by Public Policy Polling found. Begich also topped other potential GOP candidates.

“I’ve considered it because people have requested me considering it, but I’m still waiting to see what the line-up will be and hoping that…there will be some new blood, new energy,” she said.

Palin leads the Republican Senate primary pack with 36 percent, followed by Mead Treadwell with 26 percent, Dan Sullivan with 15 percent and the 2010 GOP nominee Joe Miller with 12 percent.

There is also some confusion and debate over Palin being considered an Alaskan. with 46 percent saying she is not, versus 47 percent who say she is, PPP found.

In case anyone needs to be reminded about what kind of Senator the ex half-term Governor—who walked out on Alaskans half way though her term to make more money than she could “serving the people,”— would be, here are some of her quotes.  They’re like Bushisms, only more inane.

“Nuclear weaponry, of course, would be the be-all, end-all of just too many people in too many parts of our planet.” — CBS interview with Katie Couric, September 25, 2008

[Revere] warned the British that they weren’t going to be taking away our arms, by ringing those bells and making sure as he was riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we were going to be secure and we were going to be free.”

“The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama’s ‘death panel’ so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their ‘level of productivity in society,’ whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.”   — Facebook, Aug. 7, 2009

“I didn’t really had a good answer, as so often — is me.”
–On writing notes on her hand for the Tea Party convention address, March 5, 2010

“I don’t know if I should Buenos Aires or Bonjour, or… this is such a melting pot. This is beautiful. I love the diversity. Yeah. There were a whole bunch of guys named Tony in the photo line, I know that.”  — Addressing a Charity of Hope gathering, Hamilton, Ontario, April 15, 2010

“The Republican Party would be really smart to absorb as much of the Tea Party movement as possible.”

Polls? Nah… they’re for strippers and cross country skiers.”

You BETCHA! Wink! 😉
