Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi explains her view to reporters Thursday on whether race plays a factor within the GOP when considering immigration reform legislation.
In a week filled with allegations of racism, Pelosi told reporters that “I think race has something to do with them not bringing up the immigration bill. I’ve heard them say to the Irish, ‘If it was just you, it would be easy.'”
Speaking about Obama critics, Baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron told USA Today earlier this week compared critics of President Obama to members of the KKK and Wednesday night, Attorney General Eric Holder deviated from his prepared remarks to imply that the reason he and President Obama are so consistently criticized by Republicans is because they are black.
