Only One Republican Running In 2016 Scored A 100% Conservative Rating

WitNits

Every year, the American Conservative Union releases their ratings of U.S. lawmakers. Most GOP officials scored over sixty percent, but only sixteen scored a 100 percent conservative voting record. Of those sixteen, only one is officially running in 2016.

Before the big reveal, and I know you’re on the edge of your seat, I must state the obvious: GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina is not on the list because she’s never been an elected official and therefore has no voting record. Her claim to fame is getting fired from Hewlett Packard and losing when she ran against Senator Barbara Boxer in 2010.

2016 candidate Ben Carson has also announced his candidacy but he’s never been a lawmaker either. However, he has claimed that the Lord told him to push a flat tax. He’s also said that people turn gay after going to prison – proving homosexuality is a choice, and that feminists caused the police shootings in Ferguson.

That leaves Scott Walker, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio. All four have made their 2016 bids official.

And the winner is….

Ted Cruz!

Yes, that whacky senator from Texas who cost American taxpayers $24 BILLION dollars when he shut down the government because he had the mads about Obamacare. Cruz has also recently played into the fringe tin foil hat crowd by suggesting Obama will impose martial law in Texas.

More than likely, Cruz will not be on the 2016 ticket. It will be Jeb Bush or Scott Walker. But for those watching, Cruz wins for being the most conservative voter in the 2016 GOP clown car.

A slim few Republicans were rated between 40 and 49 percent on the scale, with the majority of them scoring 60 percent and above. Sixteen earned a 100 percent rating this year, including Sen. Mike Lee and Ted Cruz and Rep. Ron DeSantis.”
